Psychotherapist & Healer

About Me

I belive healing is a sacred journey—one that unfolds through presence, compassion, and deep listening.

My name is Nazila Hatami, and I’m a licensed Marriage family Therapist offering trauma-informed, depth-oriented, and somatic psychotherapy. My approach brings together clinical training, body-based wisdom, and a grounded spiritual lens to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that are ready for healing.

For over a decade, I have supported children and adults through childhood trauma, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent more than 10 years as a bodyworker and healing practitioner-an experience that deeply shaped my understanding of how the body holds stories, pain and resilience.

My Story

My interest in spirituality began at a young age after experiencing the impermanence of life through my father’s death. The profound loss sparked a lifelong journey of inner exploration, reflection, and healing. It led me to understand how our past shapes our psyche and how imporant it is to tend to the wounded parts within us.

Over the years, I became fascinated by the connection between trauma and the mind. This drew me to study psychology and, eventually, specialize in trauma focused approaches such as EDMR, Somatic Experiencing, and other modalities that support nervous system healing and regulation.

I’m also a multicultural and worldly therapist. I have traveled extensively and lived within diverse cultures, which has deepened my appreciation for many ways people make meaning of their experiences. I carry this openness and curiosity into my work-honoring each person’s unique story, identify, and path.

Exploration-both inner and outer-has always been a guiding force in my life. And in therapy, I truly value the courage it takes to explore your inner world. I would be honored to accompany you on that journey.
