About
My name is Nazila Hatami, LMFT. I’m spiritually oriented and passionate about helping people heal from their past traumas and live a more balanced and fulfilling life, realizing their true nature and finding the inner joy and peace.
I have over 30 years of experience in healing arts. I started this journey with my interest in healing the physical and energetic dimensions of the being. I was trained in different bodywork, and energy healing practices, as well as my extensive spiritual practice and spiritual awakening helped me gain awareness of deeper meaning of life and of our existence. Later on I studied psychology and got a B.A in psychology and a Masters degree in Integral Counseling from the prestigious alternative school of CIIS in San Francisco, Ca. In addition, during internship and after licensure, I continued gathering more knowledge and skills about healing trauma and the nervous system by taking trainings in Somatic experiencing and EMDR, the two modalities that I use extensively in my work. I also integrate the part work, Inner child healing and mindfulness as other modalities.
I have a depth oriented body-mind-spirit approach in therapy that is designed to help heal at the core level.
I also conduct meditation and self-development workshops that help with spiritual and personal growth.

Trauma Healing & Self-realization
EMDR and Somatic experiencing are trauma focused modalities that I use in therapy. They help to process traumatic memories and release the emotional charge and bring balance to one’s nervous system. Other modalities such as part work, inner child healing and family systems are implemented to address childhood traumas and complex PTSD. In addition, Spiritual based modalities such as mindfulness and energy healing help one develop spiritual awareness and get in touch with the basic goodness of one’s own being and life force energy.

I work with Individual, Couples and Groups.

This is a one-on-one setting that addresses each individual’s unique needs to heal and restore balance. So, one can live a healthier life.

A safe environment is created where the couple can explore the dynamics of their relationship and learn how to shift the unhealthy patterns of relating.

In the group setting, the group dynamic is used to work on different themes or issues, or to cultivate spiritual aspects of our existence. Group work is collaborative and powerful.
